My work on this map focused on updating the map’s design and thematic content as the vision of the feature article became more defined.  Building on previous intern Maggie Smith’s design, I worked with the Director of Maps, William McNulty, to enhance the user-friendliness of the map spread and to verify the map’s accuracy.  This called for using Photoshop and Illustrator to generate visual effects and update place name information.  I was also responsible for communicating with the Friends of the High Line to verify the map’s accuracy.
