…This is one of two maps that I crafted for the book Guerrillas in Civil War Missouri, by James W. Erwin.  A clear reference map, it offers the places across Northeast Missouri that played integral roles in the chaos and violence of the Civil War in the ‘Show Me State.’  The author had already researched the maps’ data before tasking me with the project, so I was able to quickly double-check the place names, historical railroad development, and legal boundaries as I designed the maps.  For you Civil War buffs out there, check out the book on Amazon.  The second map that I produced is available in the ‘Click to Look Inside!’ segment of the page.
